Ingredients of Spiced Chickpea Salad

  • 1 1/2 cup chickpeas (kabuli chana)
  • 1 red onion
  • 1 cup virgin olive oil
  • Salt as required
  • Water as required
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes
  • 1 cucumber (English)
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 3 cloves garlic

How to make Spiced Chickpea Salad

Step 1: Boil the chickpeas

Take a pressure cooker and add water along with chickpeas. Wait for 3 whistles and turn off the flame. Drain the water and run the chickpeas through some cold water to retain the texture.

Step 2: Whisk the dressing
